Makes 6 Servings

2 1/2 Pounds Beef Chuck Flanken-Style Short Ribs, Cut 3/8 to 1/2 inch Thick*

1/4 Cup Chopped Green Onions

1/4 Cup Water

1/4 Cup Soy Sauce

2 Teaspoons Grated Fresh Ginger

2 Teaspoons Dark Sesame Oil

2 Cloves Garlic, Minced

1/2 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds, Toasted

*Flanken-style ribs can be ordered from your butcher. They are cross-cut short ribs sawed through the bones.

1. Place ribs in large resealable food storage bag. Combine green onions, water, soy sauce, ginger, oil, garlic and pepper in small bowl; pour over ribs. Seal bag; turn to coat. Marinate in refrigerator at least 4 hours or up to 8 hours, turning occasionally.

2. Prepare grill for direct cooking. Remove ribs from marinade; reserve marinade. Grill ribs, covered, over medium-high heat 5 minutes. Brush lightly with reserved marinade; turn and brush again. Discard remaining marinade. Continue to grill, covered, 5 to 6 minutes for medium or to desired doneness. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

"A slip on the snowy sidewalk in the winter is a small thing.

It happens to millions.

A fall from a ladder in the summer is a small thing.

It also happens to millions.

The slip or a fall produces a subluxation.

The subluxation is a small thing.

The subluxation produces pressure on a nerve.

That pressure is a small thing. That decreased flowing produces a diseased body and brain.

That is a big thing to that man."
